Tråg’s Christkindle im Herz’n
„Trågs Christkindle im Herz’n“ ist ein Benefizkonzert, welches wir das erste Mal im Jahre 2004 veranstalteten. Es findet zwischenzeitlich immer zwei Tage vor dem Heiligen Abend um 19:30 in der Stiftskirche St. Georgen am Längsee statt, unabhängig davon, um welchen Wochentag es sich handelt. Der gesamte Erlös kommt jedes Jahr in Not geratenen oder verunfallten Kameraden und Kameradinnen der Feuerwehren des Bezirkes St. Veit an der Glan und deren Familienangehörigen zu Gute.
Über viele Jahre hat immer unser ehemaliger Diözesanbischof Alois Schwarz mit Gedanken und Texten durch den Abend geführt. Seit er als Bischof nach St. Pölten gewechselt hat, begleitet uns der Psychotherapeut und gebürtige Kärntner, sowie ehemalige Rektor des Bildungshauses St. Georgen Dr. Arnold Metnitzer durch den Abend. Auch schon zur Tradition gehört es, dass wir von lieben Freunden musikalisch begleitet werden, wie der bekannten Harfinistin Evelin Schuler, sowie dem Bläserensemble der Glantaler Blasmusik Frauenstein.
Anschließend gibt es dann im Stiftshof immer noch eine stimmungsvolle Agape und die eine und andere Zugabe von den Bläser und von uns Sängern.
Dankbar sind wir auch dafür, dass das Kommando, sowie die Kameradinnen und Kameraden der Freiwilligen Feuerwehren des Bezirkes St. Veit an der Glan, sowie unser Ehrenmitglied Simon Fritz uns viel organisatorische Arbeit abnehmen.
Dieser Abend gehört zwischenzeitlich schon für viele unserer Gäste zu ihrem vorweihnachtlichen Fixpunkt und immer wieder hören wir nach den Konzerten den Satz: „Jetzt fängt für mich Weihnachten an“.

„Trågs Christkindle im Herz’n“ is a benefit concert that we held for the first time in 2004. In the meantime, it always takes place two days before Christmas Eve at 7:30 p.m. in the Stiftskirche St. Georgen, regardless of the day of the week.
Every year, the entire proceeds go to comrades in need or injuries to the fire brigades of the St. Veit an der Glan district and their family members.
For many years our former diocesan bishop Alois Schwarz has always guided us through the evening with thoughts and texts. Since he moved to St. Pölten as a bishop, the psychotherapist and native of Carinthia and former rector of the St. Georgen Dr. Arnold Metnitzer through the evening. It is also a tradition that we are accompanied musically by dear friends, such as the well-known harpist Evelin Schuler, as well as the wind ensemble of the Glantaler Blasmusik Frauenstein.
Afterwards there is still an atmospheric agape in the Stiftshof and one or two encores by the brass section and by us singers.
We are also grateful that the command, as well as the comrades of the volunteer fire departments of the district of St. Veit an der Glan, as well as our honorary member Simon Fritz do a lot of organizational work for us.
For many of our guests, this evening has already become a fix pre-Christmas point and we hear the phrase after the concerts again and again: „Now Christmas begins for me“.
