Freundschaft und Geselligkeit
In einem unserer Lieder lautet der Text wie folgt: „Wer hier mit uns will fröhlich sein, dem woll’n ein Glas wir bringen, wer trinken will den guten Wein, der muss auch mit uns singen….
Wir singen wohl die ganze Nacht bis in den hellen Morgen, bis uns die Sonne wieder lacht, der Wirt, der muss uns bringen“ (wobei das ganze natürlich auch für einen g’schmackigen Gerstensaft gilt).
Ob Walther Schneider, der dieses Lied geschrieben hat, uns persönlich einmal erlebt hat, können wir nicht sagen. Faktum ist, dass er damit so ziemlich gut uns vom 8Gsong charakterisiert, was das Thema Freundschaft und Geselligkeit anlangt. Nicht wenig oft gelingt es uns, so lange zu singen, dass wir selbst die Sperrstunde ausrufen müssen.
Freundschaft und Gemeinschaft wird auch innerhalb der 8Gsong-Familie hoch gehalten. Hier ein paar Bilder zu diesem Thema, welche über die Jahre entstanden sind.

In one of our songs the text reads as follows: „Whoever wants to be happy with us, we want to bring him a glass, whoever wants to drink the good wine, has to sing with us too … We’ll probably sing all night until in the bright morning until the sun is shining again, the landlord must bring us“ (although the whole of course also applies to a tasty cool blond beer).
We cannot say whether Walther Schneider, who wrote this song, saw us personally. The fact is that he pretty much characterizes us from the 8Gsong in terms of friendship and conviviality. Not infrequently, we manage to sing so long that we have to call the curfew.
